How about using a teether for the baby to bite and at the same time play with it. |
|

yes i agree, teether or yet by giving him pacifiers, it can help too. |

Get him some teething rings, and throw them in the freezer...or a damp cloth in the freezer. When they frozen, let him have it. |

I've used the baby orajel but don't like to use it much because they say it can cause their gag reflex not to work right and choke. Mostly i just let him chew on teethers (i had to hold them for him for awhile) and my finger. |

For the discomfort and swelling and irritability I used Humphreys teething strips. I didn't always have to give him one in the day unless it was really bothering him, but one before bed really helped him to sleep. |

I use Tylenol every now and then. I really like Hylands teething tablets and I give him Nighttime Ore-gal. Zach also likes chewing on baby washcloths that I have wet with cold water. |

I went to a health food store and asked them for other teething remedies. They recommended camomile tablets----yes tablets. They are tiny and you put them under the baby's tongue and they dissolve instantly. They say it works wonders, especially if you are worried about giving baby tylenol all the time. |
