what is behavior therapy for kids with ADHD?

It is more of positive reinforcement for the child. "More carrot, less stick" that is what they say. The relationship between parent and child should basically be more positive, because it is a very important source of motivation for the latter.

this is basically behavior management. This is when kids with ADHD are taught how to behave in a way that is socially acceptable. The goal of this behavior therapy is to increase frequency of good behavior by pleasing their parents.
