do you guys believe in a long engagement. my co-worker has been engaged to her fiance for almost 2 years. is he getting cold feet or what???

Long engagement could be good or bad. Depends on how the couple sees it. It could be an opportunity to know each other better and it gives you a good chance to plan out your future. Question is "how long is too long?"... Very long engagements can also be risky especially if you haven't developed a strong bond yet.

i think the fiance is getting cold feet. i dont believe in engagements for more than one year. it takes that time to set a wedding day. so if a guy proposes but still isn't comitting to a date after 2 years then he has you on a string.

parhaps the guy is still saving up for their future. there could be many reasons why they are still not marred. its not really cold feet.

my partner and i were a couple for 4 years and planned a wedding in just 3 months! i wouldnt say that the guy is getting cold feet. but i do agree that 2 years is already a long wait.
