my 8 year old nephew is scared to go to school. he told me he does not like his teacher. any advice?

talk to the teacher. you might want to tell him that your nephew is scared of him. you might also want to get in touch with other parents as they might be experiencing the same thing.

we all had our share of scary teachers. ask him why he is scared. perhaps you can work this out between yourselves with a simple explanation.

learn the reason why he is scared. if the reason is illiminated then he will be fine.

did he give you a reason as to why he does not like his teacher? if you can find out what it is then it would be easier to solve this problem.

maybe the teacher is a terror! i had a teacher in the 3rd grade that i was really scared of! she was such a meanie!

can you ask him why his teacher is scary? it might just be because of an over active imagination on his part. if you explain to him then he might understand the situation better.

I liked all my teachers but one of my history teachers was a bit eccentric. LOL...

anyway it might be on the teacher's side too. if you can get to observe the teacher then do so.
