Mother's Day Crafts: Scented Sachet

These sachets are great for making any room smell nice, plus they add a decorative touch. For this simple kids crafts project, you will need these craft supplies:

• 1-inch thick rigid plastic foam, at least 4-inches wide
• Glue gun
• Dried lavender
• Shallow container
• Serrated knife
• Essential oil, lavender (optional)

1. Draw a shape (i.e. heart, star, diamond) on your plastic foam and then cut it out with your knife.

2. Pour the dried lavender into your shallow container.

3. Cover one side of your foam shape in glue and then press it into the lavender. Do one side at a time. Make sure all sides are coated thoroughly.

4. To help the sachet smell extra nice, place a few drops of essential oil onto it.
