ohh you poor thing...hope you didnt have a hard labor and your baby is fine, ofcourse you should get a welcoming baby shower. your guest would enjoy it ince they can already see the baby. but do it after a week or two, aybe go for a month

i know having a baby is exciting, but remember that baby needs a lot of work. so i won't really advise that you ask your friends to throw a party for you.
or get someone to organize it.

if its a welcome baby shower it doesn't have to be big, just a simple occasion, you can invite them for dinner, even a snack will do.
but i would have someone else do the organizing.
