We haven't travel by plane with my daughter. I'm scared to bring her because of the duration of the travel and the turbulence that might occur during the travel. But I've asks my friends and my doctor if its safe to bring my daughter to travel by plane. The new dilemma would be what important things to bring and dos and don'ts.

Tell me about it! The first time I brought my baby for a plane ride, it was REALLY hard. She kept on crying on the whole flight. The passengers around me were mostly sympathetic but there was this one old lady 1 seat away that kept on giving me the look. She was really rude.

Bring extra diapers, clothes and beige food. Don't forget to bring pacifier. Toy is not necessary.

It is advisable to travel with another adult such as your husband or somebody else, during very long flights. The logic is so that the companion can sub for you in case you need to relieve yourself, take a short break or rest/sleep.
