my sister and I are having an argument because i bathe my son 2x a day! she said one was enough and that he is going to catch a cold if I bathe him frequently. what nonsense!

LOL... what a silly argument. you cant catch a cold by bathing! you get it through an infected person!

karenJ - December 8th, 2010 2:23 AM

it's not true that you catch a cold while bathing, but you can aggravate it though if you already have one. i bathed my kids twice a day two even when they were infants. the night bath is just faster then the morning bath though.

LOL... your sister is funny. I think baby should be comfy before going to bed. I bathed my kids too before sleeping and they are fine and healthy now.

yeah just bathe him. most infants like bathing anyway! make sure the water's warm though!

milkyway - December 11th, 2010 3:51 AM

my babies always loved the water and always had fun during bath time! and you catch cold through a virus not through bathing! LOLZ!

cara_donnie - December 12th, 2010 3:01 AM

i bathe my babies 2x a day too! this is so that they are comfy!

BEA228 - December 13th, 2010 4:28 AM

i give my kids quick baths. i bathe them twice a day and bathing them takes less than 5 minutes!

rachel - December 16th, 2010 2:29 AM

the getting sick because of bathing is old wives tale. just make the night time bath a quick one and your baby should be just fine!

kim444 - December 19th, 2010 3:01 AM

if the water is warm and you make it a quick bath then it is safe.

Tameeka - December 19th, 2010 10:22 AM

i tokd your cold is from a virus... sigh... anyway I still bathe them 2x a day in warm water. kids like water so this is really a fun time for them.

thanks for all who stopped by and posted their thoughts.
