do you believe that letting your baby listen to classical music will make him/her musically inclined?

i think this is a talent. it can be hereditary or latent or it can be developed.

but i hear that babies in the womb can retain their memories of the music they listen too while in utero.

IMO, it cant hurt. if classical music is your thing then it would be nice if your child also developed an appreciation for this kind of thing.

what i know is that listening to classical music while your pregnant enhances the baby's brain development. Not sure if that is already proven though.

I went through this too but later on I switched to pop music because this is what i liked. classical music makes me sleepy... LOL!

I believe in letting baby listen to music to stimulate their development but I dont think it should be classical music. how about a well rounded selection instead of just one?
