lots of water and fluids. this is one of the best way to stave off dehydration.

hydrite. mix one teaspoon salt, one teaspoon sugar in one liter of water. this will replace their lost fluids quickly compared to water.

bananas are good. i get constipated if i eat too much so a few spoon fulls should be OK.

fluids is really important when you're having diarhea. you can either give medicine to solidify stool or give some bananas. caffeine works OK too but since infants are too young for solid food I think medicine from the doctor is your best option.

your baby will need to see the doctor for medicine. speed is important since dehydration can cause problems in babies.

I agree with Samantha. water alone will not solve this problem. a doctor will prescribe medicine to make it all better.
