my babies did not like to drink water. however the doctor said that water is important for their hydration and we should give them adequate water and not just milk. a trick i learned to get my babies drink water is to put some honey in the bottle for their water. It worked like a charm! :)

just thought I would share.

I agree that water is important. It also helps with constipation. This is a neat trick you have!

If they get used to milk or juice then they would not like water. Make sure you give them some water after feeding so that they will get used to the taste.

I had no problem making my baby drink water as I usually give him some after he has a bottle of milk. So its like he expects it.

i used to give them diluted juice :)

I used to put some lemons in my baby's water to give it a bit of flavor. He got used to milk so he does not like to drink anything without flavor.

i did not have this problem. i used to give them water after feeding or whenever i feel like it.

I think they dont like to drink water when they are used to the taste of milk. better start them on water early.

this is nifty trick you have!

its because they're not used to any liquids aside from milk. water is really important to babies too.

i used to put some sugar in their water bottle but honey is healthier!
