My little girl always have hiccups and I am scared every time that she might not be able to breathe properly. Anyone who has a good way to handle it immediately?

You can let the baby take water first and it take awhile before the hiccups stop. Position the baby in such a way that his breathing will be easier for the baby.

do you believe that putting a white thread on the forehead would help stop the hiccups?

Thanks for the posts here. I never heard of that thread thing but interesting and simple. To be honest I do believe in those myths because it works sometimes.

don't try to cuddle your baby, put him at ease and keep him on upright position. let him sip some small amount slowly and massage a bit with a very mild touch in his upper chest.
