Thought I might share these tips with you fellow mothers.

These are among the common signs to look for that indicates that the baby is becoming dehydrated:

A. She is crying but no tears are comig out.
B. Her lips are too dry or parched.
C. Over 6 hours without a wet diaper. And if she finally has one, the urine appears darker on the diaper and smells stronger than normal.
D. Showing unusual lack of activity or vitality.


Serious dehydration signs:

A. Her hands and/or feet are covered with large, irregular spots.
B. Her hands and/or fee feel cold.
C. Sunken eyes.
D. The soft spots on your baby's head, called fontanelle, are sunken.
E. Excessive sleepiness or easily annoyed/irritable.

this are great tips emma! just wondering and i hope you can help out with this whats the best way to have your baby hydrated as quick as possible, i just want to know what to do in case...

When your baby exhibits serious signs of dehydration, he/she might already need fluid to be administered through IV.
