really? i didn't know it could last that long. i once stored my milk for more than one day and i just wasted it coz i thought it was no longer good...

it does make sense, freezing it preserves the nutrients, but its like eating bacon that has been in your fridge for half a year or that pizza that has been there for a year. :)

How about if the freezer is being defrosted? Is it still OK to drink the breastmilk? Also, how do you know that the breastmilk is still OK?

I am wondering too if breastmilk can turn sour. I did not store breastmilk for over 24 hours when I was breastfeeding. I always pumped every morining before work.
