you know how school aged children loves playing around and you can't really avoid it that at times they get wounded... what is the best antiseptic for wounds? hydrogen peroxide? or rubbing alcohol? or does it even matter??

ummm.. i think it won't really matter.. but if my kids get wounded, i wash it with soap and water and then use hydrogen peroxide, then betadine solution... alcohol can give a strong sting so i don't really use for wound dressing..

Rubbing alcohol? No way! That is for external cleaning only. Use Iodine instead.

We use soap and warm water for scrapes and minor cuts. After cleaning with soap and water I usually just put a bandaid on it or some gauze.
