my 3 year old does not like to drink milk and it worries me because he might have calcium deficiency. are there any ways to make him like drinking milk again or any alternative on giving him calcium?

You can try a more tasty milk because some kids just get bored with their milk. As they grow old they have a lot of food and drinks to taste and their standards also change. Try giving him like a chocolate milk, I am sure he will love it.

my son just drinks milk once in awhile, only when he feels like drinking but not daily. it worries me too, i have tried that technique monna and it only last for 2 weeks. really hard on our part.

well we can't force them to drink milk at their active age because my sister was like that too when she was a preschooler. they are so preoccupied with a lot of things and can't stay put to be able to drink milk of even eat their meals.

i myself don't like to drink milk. i can't remember at what age i stopped drinking milk. i am a little worried about my bones and i really regret it. that is why i make sure that my baby will be drinking milk no matter what it takes.

me too i don't get to drink milk daily. i will try that technique monna but kind of afraid that i will have the same situation as louisa. sometimes i just give up on convincing him to drink his milk because it is so frustrating.

You can use a nice and colorful glass for the child to get distracted and drink the milk. It works for my kiddos.

Give him calcium supplements instead. Let him eat food rich in calcium. Buy him some other kind of milk such as natural cow's milk in choco flavor (he might like other flavors).

Has he been checked by the doctor yet? Is he lactose intolerant? That is the only reason I can think of that makes him not to want milk anymore. But it is rare for a child to be lactose intolerant at a very young age. Normally they develop the intolerance at a later age.
