do you save your older kids clothes for hand me downs? I think one of my kids are ashamed to wear hand me downs from his older sister. They are both in the same school and perhaps some of the other people there have seen the clothes before.

yes i do. i never had a problem like yours though.

maybe the clothes are so faded they look kinda ragged.

no. my kids have big age gaps so by the time i have another child it would be out of style already.

we went through this when we were kids and we had 2 year age gaps. i was teased a bit coz some of the clothes were faded.

i dont buy my kids expensive clothes but i do buy them brand new ones for school. for clothes we wear just at home then the hand me downs are OK.

yes. if the kids aren't ragged or faded then i save them for future use. for the others i give them away to charity.

my kids have big age gaps so I give the clothes to charity or to our church instead.

kids are more conscious nowadays comapred to when we were kids. self confidence is more important than fashion so make sure to just reassure your child.
