my daughter has been gettting periods of what seemed like an indigestion... what is the primary cause for it? it's already bothering her and it's starting to worry me.

i wouls strongly suggest that you go see a doctor. what you can do though is try to improve her eating habits. Minimize greasy or spicy foods.

In my experience the primary cause of indigestion is over eating. So regulate and monitor her meals. Make sure she is getting enough food but not too much to cause the indigestion.

aside from eating too much, perhaps she is eating too fast? i find that eating very fast, like you havent eaten in weeks always gives me indigestion. Tell her to chew 10 times before swallowing her food.

there are also foods that cause indigestion. food high in fat can cause indigestion so better avoid this. Also avoid caffeinated beverages, acidic foods, peppermint and chocolate. Yeah chocolate!
