I'm getting ahead of myself but any advice on parenting teenagers? :D

What is most important about teens is that you should learn to trust them and you should also be open to them. If you have this two then you should have no problems with your teenager.

My parents were very supportive of us when we were teens and were always frank with us even with questions about sex. So when my kids grow up, I plan to take a page out of my parent's book.

my parents were too strict. I ended up sneaking to go out and experimenting with alcohol when I was a teen.

So my advice would be to give your kids some space to just be kids. Nobody is perfect and we are allowed to make some mistakes.

My parents were tough on me when I was a teenager. So when my kids reach their teenage years I would make it a point to not become my parents. I would give them room to grow emotionally, I would trust them and I would listen to them.
