is a play day nursery considered as a school or as a daycare center?

a school. they follow a curriculum.

i think it doubles as both. they can play and learn at the same time. you get the convenience of being able to leave your child with qualified pros and they get to learn something at the same time.

i think it's a school. i had my kids go through nursery and they had teacher and lessons.

in nursery you get lessons but in a daycare center its just someone watching your kids. perhaps in a play day nursery you get both?

if they have formal lessons then i think it is considered as a school.

i think this is a school. our school is also called a play day nursery and even thought the kids spend just 2 hours there they are taught basic lessons like the alphabet and writing and reading their names.

i think it is a proper school. they have teachers instead of aids so for me this is a school setting rather than just a daycare center.
