Hi!
hope all is well with everyone here...
I have this concern about my child being an under achiever. They have this annual sort of assessment in school to check the child's capability. My kid is an above average student but an under achiever. I was told by her school administrator that she performing less than what she is capable of doing... how can I help her?

whether your child has normal or above average intelligence, without a desire or motivation to succeed at school, it is unlikely that she will do well. There are many reasons for children to have a lack of motivation, including parents that set their expectations too high or too low, social problems, including difficulties at home or at school, and behavior problems.
