Hi, my boy has been waking up in the middle of night, like every one hour. He is now going to 9 months. Past few months he slept quite well, and only wake up for milk for once. But now he wakes up not for milk, but just want to seek comfort. have to really pat him for 1 hour then he falls asleep again. I feel so tired. Room temperature same as the past, diaper not wet, and i dun think that he is not feeling well. It has been 1 month since he start screaming in the middle of night. Any mommies there can advise what to do... Thanks so much.

my colleague had the same prob..when i shared that I gave my babies comfort pillows..he immediately got one and has since had better sleep..simply let the baby hold the pillows to fall asleep n the sleep will be longer..babies wake up for a few reasons other than wetting nappies n hunger..it could be due to skin irrantants too(at least for my boy)..he used to wake up due to itchy skin caused by ezcema..

I found this pillow esp safe cos my son's ezcema did not act up after using..cos it's a all natural product..check it out:

Maybe the baby's not feeling well..why wont you consult a doctor?

your child may not be comfortable with his crib or the the pillows might be hard or uncomfortable by its texture.

check your child's bed and stuffs in her or his bed. make sure we clean their bed twice a day or even once.

maybe you need to check the bed first if there is things that make him uncomfortable
