What Parents Can Do?

Once parents have identified whether their child is visibly upset due to a nightmare or a sleep terror, they are in a better position to implement some strategies to prevent, manage, and treat the problem.

i have a younger sister who is way younger than me and she seems to be having nightmares or bad dreams for almost a week now. It just worries me.

some babies can have a good sleep if we play lullabies or calm music when their asleep. it is not necessarily that we play it the whole time they are sleeping but we just have to wait for them to sleep soundly then turn off the music.

i notice that my kid usually have this "night terrors" when he is super active during the day. I don't know why. I usually run him a warm bath before sleeping. he enjoys it, and i feel that he gets better sleep.
