4 years old. your child can attend playgroups just a preparation for next school.

you would know if your child is ready for school. 3 years of age can join a "playgroup", it's like a mixture of school and play.

Playgroups is for ages 2.5 to 4 years old. But we slowly introduces them to school at age 1 or 2, just only at home.

I formally started school when I was 5 YO. Traditionally its a good age to start school. Today, it is not the same anymore. Kids can go to what is like a non-formal school at the ages of 3 or 4. While this is good, I suspect this has something to do with schools making more money. Parents today are also becoming too busy with work. The earlier their children go to school, the better.
