How do you prepare your child for his first day in school? How can help them to feel comfortable and at ease in school, especially that it is a new experience and environment for them? Please share some tips here. Thanks!

with my son, i just gave him an idea of what to expect in school. possible activities that he may encounter in school. i don't have much problem with him because he is used to being with different people and kids.

i accompany my child in school and just wait there until the class is dismissed. i just wanted her to feel comfortable first with her new classmates and being there would help her adjust faster. maybe for the first week only then after that i can just leave her at school and will just come back to fetch her.

Well, I did not have any worries when my daughter started schooling. Maybe because she is well exposed to other people and is not having a hard time adjusting.

Today was my little girl's 1st day of school, and i was full of excitement for her.

after spending the whole summer ,telling me at least twice a week that she "doesn't want to go to school", she was the first to arrive and adjust as if she had been there before.

Don't worry about it, he'll be fine.
